Want to spend a week paddling between islands with humpback whales, seals, and sea lions?
Now is your chance! Join Discovery Southeast and Above and Beyond Alaska for a 5 day / 4 night kayak expedition around the channel islands. By day, we explore the stunning scenery of Lynn Canal. By night (fingers crossed), we star gaze by an open fire. This is a trip you won’t want to miss!
Our expedition team of middle schoolers will be joined by a Discovery Southeast naturalist and an Above and Beyond Alaska guide, both looking forward to a safe and fun adventure.
Meals, boats, and paddle gear are included in the cost. Youth should expect remote camping and full days paddling, but need not have experience. Sliding scale tuition is available, or full tuition is $470.
