Discovery Southeast is hiring an Assistant Manager and Retail Clerks for our bookstore and gift shop at the Mendenhall Glacier Visitor Center. Candidates should enjoy sharing Juneau nature with visitors! We’ve had a wonderful crew that’s included many Discovery Southeast alumni, and hope to create and support another great team for 2018!
The Assistant Manager position is for April into October. Retail Clerks can work roughly that same season or shorter (generally accommodating school schedules).
Our store at the visitor center raises revenue for Discovery Southeast programs, offers educational materials, and builds community engagement in the Tongass. We’re looking for team members who can provide friendly and professional customer service, will attend to product displays and inventory, and are dedicated to accurately process customer sales.
